The weather conditions on the Tararuas are unusually severe with strong winds, heavy rain, occasional hailstorms and dense low-lying clouds. The party consists of the following: — Miss M. Williams, of Wanganui; Dr. W. B. Sutch, who has been temporarily on the staff of the Palmerston North Boys' High School. Mr. E. Hill, of Aokautere, near Palmerston North. Mr. A. H. O'Keefe, of Wellington.
