IMPRISONED MEN
RUMOURS OF RELEASE Rec. April 23, 6 p.m. London, April 22. A rumour, apparently emanating from Copenhagen, was current that Thornton and MacDonald had been released. The London office of the Vickers Company conversed by telephone with the others of the party on arrival in Berlin, but the rumour has not been confirmed. The Soviet Embassy in London is similarly in the dark.
