I • ; MAJESTIC THEATRE, APRIL 21-22, I A big fiesh and blood -show, "The Gaieties oi' 1933," direct from the leading eentres of Australia and New | Zealand, is to appt ir in the Ma.jestie 1 Theatre, Rotorua, c n Friday and Sa1 turday ncxt, April 21 and 22. This vaudevilk and revue company was organised by Stanlcy McKay and Paul Warten some three years ago in Sydney, and has since heen playing to excellent business in the Commonwealth, and, during the last few months, in the Dominion. Included in the pcrsonnel are such well-known artists as Fred Bluett, the king of comedy; Arny Rochelle, the queen of variety; Rene Rich, the genius of the violin; and the Flying Wartens, marvellous acrobats. Others in the company of 25 are Adie Collings, soubrefte; the Superb Six, ballerinas; (Robert Raymond, baritone; Cherrie Armstrong, danseuse; Nancy Whitty, platinum blonde; Peril and Bosco, knockabout comedy templers; Syd. Wheeler, character comedeian; the Genettes, simultaneous dancers; and the Ten Persian Acrohatic Marvels. Feature s of each production are the heautiful dresses designed by Mdlle. Bertini, elahorate scenery, a pretty and shapely' ballet, and a first-class orehestra. The season opens with "A Brighter 1933," followed on Saturday afternoon by the pantomime "Diclt Whittington and His Cat," and concluding on Saturday night with an entirely new revue. Seats may be reserved at Miss Macdermott's.
