Gran-ddaughter of Chief Passes Mrs. Nohi Nikora, one of the most highly-connected members of the Ngati Whakaue, passed away on Good Friday at Ohinemutu where a tangi is at present being held. The funeral will take place this afternoon when the remains will be interred at the Ngati Whakaue burial ground at Kauwae. The deceased was a granddaughter of qne of the most prominent chiefs o'f the tribe, the late Pererika Ngahuruhuru, who gave the land on which the present Maori Church stands at Ohinemutu .to the Protestant authorities. Mrs. Nohi Nikora was about 25 years of age and leaves a husband and three young children.
