REALLY GOOD BAND

PREMIER WELLINGTON MUSICIANS TO PLAY IN ROTORUA Known throughout both Islands and to practically every visitor to the Empire City, Wellington boasts an exceptionally fine dance orchestra in the Adelphi Cabaret Band which is to appear in Rotorua. The orchestra is noted for its dance music particularly for its definite rhythm and balance and it has frequently been said that it ranks with the highest in the world.. It certainly infuses a deal of "pep" into an evening's enjoyment and Rotorua residents are fortunate to have the opportunity of hearing it at the Majestic Ballroom on Thursday evening. Among the stars are Tommy Stratton, Cluny MaePherson (who does not perf orm upon the bagpipes) , Lou Myers, Les Grummitt and Ray Millar. Their names are household words in Wellington dancing circles.
