BRITISH IMPORTERS RESENT CHARGE OF CONTROLLING PRICES WAR OF ATTRITION FEARED

The Dairy Produeing importers and merchants are indignant at cables from the New Zealand Dairy Board attributing the slump prices to their action, The Importers' Association officially challenged the statement, and asserted that nothing could possibly be done here to cope with the huge supply which is exceeding all possible consumption. It is stated here that the New Zealand Board had all the necessary data to f orecast the present crisis at least two months ago. Some importers expect a war of attrition lasting for years.
