OFFICIAL OPENING. OF TE PUKE CLUB'S COURSE The official opening day of the Te Puke Golf Club's new links at Papamoa has now been fixed for Saturday, April 8. The twelve-hole course, which has been eompleted in accordance with the plan isuggested by Mr. C. H. Redhead, will be a decided improvement on any links which have yet been available for the Te Puke Club, and members are looking forward to a particularly good year's golf. The officers of the club, as elected at the annual general meeting last week, are ias follows: — Patron, Mr. J. Dickson; president, Mr. H. George; vicepresident, Mr. W. E. Hookey; club captain, Mr. H. E. Webster; ✓committee, Messrs V. Crowley, {Ri. Gibbins, J. Douglas, R. Fulton and Dr. L. Randefl; secretary, Mr. E. Harigreaves; auditor, Mr-. J. T. Eccleton. The officers for the comingi season of the Te Puke Ladies' Golf Club, who were elected at 'the -annual general meeting on Saturday last, are: — President, Mrs. H. Webber; vice-presid-ents, Mrs. C. H. Perring and Miss F. M. L. Bush; club captain, Miss Watson; vice-captain, Miss A. Rogers; isecretary, Mrs. Cashmore; committee, the foregoing, with the laddition of Mesdames D. Potts, J. Douglas and E. Harigreaves.
