USEFUL GIFTS FOR BRIDE-TO-BE Last Thursday evening Miss Veria Griffiths gave a most enjoyable kitehen eveining at her home, Arawa House, in honour of Miss Ethel Sharpe, who •is to be married at Easter. The ■lounge was beautifully larranged with ' hydrangeas; belladonna lillies and michlemas daisies, and to receive her guests the h'ostess wore shell pink emhroidered voile, while the guest of the .evening was in white sprigged organdie. Novelty competitions twere won by Mrs. J. Speer, Misist (Ei. Sharpie, Miss R. Steele and Miss G. La Trobe Hill. ; Among those present were: — Mrs. R. Griffiths, Mrs. J.
