MAJESTIC THEATRE

TO-NIGHT. "The Sport Parade," which epens at the Majestic Theatre to-night, is the kind of picture that uses action, not words, to tell "its story. It's type of diversion we caiT whole-heartedly recommend to entertainmlent-seekers slightly wearied of full-dress drawingroom drama with the diction as refiried as the raiment. The story presents Joel McCrea, William Garigan and Marian MJarsh in the leading roles. These two handsome, healthy"1 young men, as they leave college, where they have been hero.es iand inseparable pals for four years, through' one conquest after another on foothall field, haseball pitch and track, find- the world different in after life. Briefly, there is, an honest, sincere study of the plight of the college hero, who goes out into the world with his chest loaded with medals only to find out thiat yesterday5 s college hero is to-day5s fo'ngottenj man. Gargan goes to work jn the sport department of a newisp-aper, deciding to forget that he5s a hero; McCrea tries to capitalise on his fame by turning prof essional land taking vaudeville engagements and endorsinig things. The two are united in newspaper work later, only to have their friendship hlasted through a common intereist in a pretty newspaper cartoonist, played by Marian Marsh. Every hit of action in "The Sport Parade55 has been arranged for excitement and dramatic value, and the love interest is so adroitly handled it never once suggests an -artificial intrusion.
