LONELY DEATH
AWFUL PRIVATIONS SUFFERED BY BALRANALD WOMAN. CHEWED LEAVES. Balranald, Saturday. Before she died from thirst and exh'austion in the spinifex country near Balranald, Mns. Annie Orawford, 71, who had wandered around aimlessly for nearly a week, suffered terrihle privations. She had chewed leaves in an effort to keep herself alive, and had cut her feet and fingers . digging into the ground in her frenzy.
