DEATH OF MR. T. DWAN

Wellington, Saturday. The death occurred this morning of Mr. Thomas Beaumont Dwan, a wellknowji hotel-broker. He was also prominent in turf circles, having bred, owned an,d raced several good horses. ; Mr. Dwan was born in Victoria in 1861, and came to Wellington as a boy. He acted as a land-valuer for the Government and the City Council in several important compensation claims. He is survived by his wife and his brother, Mr. L. Dwan.
