The President, Mr Roosevelt, made his foreat conservation einployment programme law by signing the bill, while his assistants rushed to make ready for enlisting thousands of unemployed from the cities for work in the foreists. Mr. Roosevelt also .signed the Copeland Cellar Medicinal Eiquor Bill which removes the restfictions on the amount of liquor a doctor may prescrihe.
