CAUSE OF DISASTER Rec. March 29, 7.30 p.m. London, March 29. The air disaster is described as the worst in the history of British aviation, with the exception of the R101. Newspapers stress that there is not a single survivor and four of the victims are women. The Times says that the cause of the accident will never be lcnown. Safe travel in the air becomes so commonplace that the catastrophe is all the more shocking. The Imperial Airways had a remarkable record of safety and regulated services.
