DOG TRIAL CLUB CUP PRESENTED IN MEMORY OF LATE MR. J. M. BUTLER.

A meeting of th'e B.O.P. Dog Trial Club was held bn Wednesday .'evening to deal with general business in conneetion with the forthcoming dog trials to be held on th'e 10th, 11th, and 12th of April. Before dealing with the business the chairman, Mr. C. T. Clarke, recalled 1 the very excellent work done on behalf of the club by the late Mr. J. M. Butler, in whose death , the club had sustained a great loss. Other members present also paid tribute to Mr. Butler's work and the meeting ,stood in silence for two minuteq as ia mark of respect. As a memorial to the memory of the late Mr. Butler, it was decided to don- - ate a Rose Bowl to be known as the J. M. Butler Memorial Bowl. The club decided to hold a dance on the evening of the last day -oi the trials land to present the tropkies at this meeting. The club will have three new cups available for competition this year.
