Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards on Tuesday the 21st March as under: — Fat sheep. — There was a moderate yarding and prices were on a par with last week's rates. Extra prime fat wethers 13s to 14s; young fat ewes 9s; ordinary fat ewes 7s to 8s 6d; inferior fat ewes 5s 6d; prime woolly lambs 10s 6d to 12s; small ditto 9s to 10s 3d; inferior woolly 8s ld; extra well grown shorn fat lambs sold at up to 11s 6d. These lambs were sold on account of Mr. J. D. Farreliy, Awaponga. Forward shorn lambs 9s to 10s 3d; small lambs 7s 3d. Fat cattle. — There was a larger yarding than usual and values were a shade lower than last week We sold light bullocks to £5 7s 6d; small fat stores £4; fat heifers £3 to £4 4s; fat cows £2 15s to £3 15s; moderate quality cows 35s to 47s 6d; light heifers £2 to £2 10s. Store cattle. — A fair entry of mixed classes. Shorthorn in calf heifers sold at £2 9s to £2 18s; Jersey weaner calves, small 20s to 28s; bulls £4 10s; boner cows 24s to 36s Pigs. — An extra large yarding of both fat and store pigs came forward and sold at prices equal to last week's rates. Best baconers £2 6s to £2 9s; medium baconers £1 19s to £2 5s; light boners £1 14s to £1 19s; heavy porkers £1 9s to £1 14s; medium porkers £1 5s to £1 9s; light porkers 19s to £1 4s; choppers £2 to £2 10s;best stores 16s to 19s 6d; slips 10s 6d to 15s 6d; weaners 6s 6d to 10s.
