WAR GUILT
REPUDIATION BY HITLER Rec. March 22, 8 p.m. London, March 22. "Neither the Kaiser, the Government nor the people desired war. Only defeat forced the nation to agree to the war guilt clause against its own better knowledge," said Herr Hitler in the course of a speech which is attracting attention as an uncompromising repudiation of the war guilt thesis in the Versailles Treaty. It is considered likely to cause a stir in diplomatic circles.
