Wellington, Friday. Six windows were broken in the Union Clothing Coys. premises on the corner of Ghuznee and Cuba Streets this evening about 10 p.m. A man was arrested who gave as his reason the fact that he was in neel of food and wanted to be taken in charge. The man, who was elderly, said that he had been unemployed for some time. Onlookers say that using a piece of piping, the man broke six windows in rapid succession and then waited for the police to arrive. The damage is estimated at £160.
