While the delegates. to the Municipal Conference were meeting last | Thursday morning, their wives. were : entertained lat an informal morning tea party by the Mayoress of Rotorua (Mrs. T. Jackson) and Councillors' wives. After inspecting the Bath Building and enjoying the floral display in the Government Gardens, the guests adjcurned to the Tea Kiosk, where tea wais served amid a charming arrangement of autumn flowers. Among the hostesses and visitors present at the function were: — Mrs. Mrs. Lovelock, Mrs. Stilwell, Mrs, Ferner, Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. MacPherson, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Hohhs., Mrs. Beanland, Mrs. Neville, Mrs. Coliiian, Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Norman, Mrs. Hutehison, Mrs. Goldstine, Mr!s. Harker, Mrs. O'Loughlan, Mrs. White, Mrs. Moffatt, Mrs, Osborne, Mrs. Strahan, Mrs Fisher, Mrs Rockstraw Mfls. Hislop, Mrs. Benntett, Mrs. O'Shea, Mrs. Denbee, Mrs. Brigham, Mrs. F. Martin, Miss H. Brigham, Missi Wilson.
