BANKS' OPERATIONS
Rec. March 8, 5.5 p.m. Washington, March 7. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mx*. W. Woodin, last-night authorised the Federal Reserve Banks to conduct the usual operations as fiscal agents of the United States in transaetions pertaining to exchange obligations of the United States.
