A NEW REGIME Salonica, March. 7. Greece's resentment at the anticonstitutional attempt of the dictator Plastiras, has resulted in his downfall. The northern garrisons threatened to march on Athens if the President dxd not transfer the Government to the popular party. Plastiras will be arrested. M. Venizelos and M. Tsaldaris conferred under the auspices of General Othanaois, president of the War Council, and formed a provisional cabinet in which General Othanaois will be Premier, pending the appointment of M. Tsaldaris. » The military is controlling the Government offices and has seized the newspapers and suspended communications. At Athens a great meeting in the public square celebrated the popular party's victory. The only disturbance was caused by soldiers firing on demonstrators during the dictatorship and lcilling ono and injuring twenty.
