LABOUR PARTY

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF ROTORUA BRANCH. The annual general meeting of the Rotorxxa branch of the Labour Party was held on Tuesday evening, when a lax'ge number of members and intending members were present, Mr. P. Cronin occupied the chair. The secretax-y, Mr. C. J. Tuck, produced the balance sheet, which showed the branch to be in a sound financial position, and stead'ily gaining membership. Satisfaction was expressed at the healthy state of the branch, and at the manner in wh'ch the offieers had carried out their duties. All present were satisfied the seat could be won for Labour at the next general election. After the usual votes of thanks, the following were elected members of the executive for the ensuing year : — President : Mr. P. Cronin ; secretary and treasurer : Mr. C. J. Tuck; trustee and vice-president: Mr. H. Aubiton; executive membex's: Messrs. Hayden, McCabe, Dixon, Barryman, Gwilliam, Jones, Fussell, Graham, Layer and Mesdames Beetham and Tuck.
