BRITISH BY-ELECTION
London, February 28. The Rotherham by-election, which was due to the death of Mr. 'G. Herbert (Conservative) resulted as follows : — Dobbie (Labour 28,767 iDrumm'ond-Wolff (Con.) 12,893 At tbe general election Mr. Herbert was returned with a majority of 762 over his Labour opponent.
