VISIT TO HAMILTON SUB-CENTRE CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE HELD ON MARCH 18 TO-MO'RiROW'S' MEETING

on Saturday, March' 18. It was alsi decided to present a challenge shieli to the cluh securing the highest ag gregate points throughout the serie of championship events, points t count, 6 for first, 3 for second ari one for third place. The shield wi be an annual competitive trophy an I will he the property of the sul centre. The championship1 'and other eventi for which entries close on March 1 will be as follows: —
Championship 100yds ladies; 100 yds open; 220yd 440yds; 880yds; one mile; 120yt hurdles; half -mile cycle; one mi cycle; five-mile cycle; h'op, step ai jump; bro;ad jump; high jump; pu ing the sh'ot; and 100, 220, 440, 8! yds, junior championships. Handicap 75yds ladies; 120yds; 880yds; tv mile cycle; three mile. cycle. Trip Postponed Owing to the inability of a nunib of competitors to make the trip, a the approach of the forthcojni championships,' the team of Rotor club members will not now make 1 arranged visit to Hamilton on Sati day next, but the cluh will he repi sented at Hamilton in the champit ship meeting. In these circumstances it has bt decide'd to extend the January-Fek ary series of evening sports me ings completed last week for two f ther weeks, points in these two me ings being added to the previous s ies.
