MAJESTIC THEATRE
TO-NIGHT. ^ : "ARSENE LUPIN." It was left to the two members — John and Lionel — of tbe immortal family of stage land screen to immortalise in celluloid the famous case of that prince of adventurers ' of detective fiction, Monsieur Arsene Lupdn. A fact woi'th noting is that this is the first occasion upon which' the two f Barrymores bave played opposite on® : anoth'er in la screen play, . This is really an admixture of the countless -stories turned out featuring j "Arsene Lupin," and makes splendid 1 entertainment. Kareti Morley plays opposite John in an interesting role as a police agent and late gaolbird. Tbe brothers both put over memorable • performances, though naturally it is John for whom we have the stronger •sympathy. . Much of the action takes P'lace in Paris, from whence we move to a country chateau belonging- to Tully Marshall as a nouveau riche, and here intrigue, plots and counterplots hit up the action and lceep tlie house on tenterhooks till the grand finale, which has an unexpected titbit to finish off with.
