BON VOYAGE

Last Thursday evening the medical superintendent and nursing staff of King George V. Hospital gathered in the sisters' sitting-room toi bid .farewell to Dr. and Mrs. B. G. Thompson, who are leavinSg to make their future home in Tonga. Bowls of hydrangeas and montbrezias made an atti'active blue room, where the matron, Miss Searell, received the guests wearing a frock of black georgette and gold lame. During the evening, which was spent in games and competitions, Dr. Lewis, on behalf of those present, presented Mrs. Thompson with a handsome Shelley tea-set, together with good wishes for their future happiness in the Islands. The hostesses for the evening were Miss. A. Searell, Miss Stanton, Miss Grier and Miss Harris.
