The Farmers' Auctioneering Co., held its monthly sale at the Ngongotaha yards yesterday when 500 cattle, 500 sheep, 400 lambs and 80 pigs were offered. Prices were as follows: — Good forward steers £4/6/- to £4/9-; 3-year steers £2/5/- to £3/7/-; 2-year steers £1/15/- to £2/7/-; fat cows and heifers £1/10/- to £2/10/-; store and dry cows £1. to £1/7/6; bulls £1/6/- to £3/5/-; heifer calves £1/9/-. Sheep: Good ewes 6/-; others 3/6 to 4/9; lambs 6/- to 8/7; South Down rams 2i.to
