CARD EVENING
The W.D.F.U. 'held the first of a series of Flag 500 evenings in the Farmers' Social Rooms on Wednesday. There was an exceptionally large attendance, there being sixteen tables of players as well as a number of dancers. Mrs. F. Bennett of the Semla Orchestra supplied the dance music. The Flag 500 winners were Mrs. W. Scott, Mrs. G. Allen, Mr. A. Neal, Mr. T. Merton. Consolation prize winners were Miss Hanfling, Mr. A. Talbot, Mrs. Hollard, Mr. Graham.
