BRIDGE AFTERNOON

The Opotiki Golf Club held a bridge afternoon in the Farmers' Social Rooms on Wednesday afternoon. The function was a great .success, £6 12s 6d being the total amount collected. The winning prize was awarded to Mrs. N. F. Pattle and the consolation prize, to Mrs. G. Dawson. Altogether there were eleven tables of players. The ladies' committee of the Golf Club organised the afternoon tea.
