TENNIS AFTERNOON
Amid the picturesque surroundings and gorgieous autumnal display of flowers of "The Mount," Miss Joan Bertram (giave a most enjoyable tennis afternoon to ,some of her friends last Saturday. The day was ideal for such ,a.n occasion and a very h'appy time was spent on the courts. Those present were: — Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. De Lacey Peake (Te Awamutu), Miss Betty Bertram, Miss Muriel Cooney, Miss Ailsa McKenzie, Miss Hazel Ford, Miss Gwenneth La Trobe Hill, Miss Dorothy Peake (Te Awamutu), Mr. ArtBiur Cooney, Mr. Lindsay Randerson and Mr. Brian Randerson.
