— By Telegraph— Oopyright).

Rec. Feb. 22, 10.15 p.m. Washington, February 21. The' Washington Post, in a copyright story on Wednesday, says that a second apparent attempt on the life of the President-elect, Mr. Franklin Roosevelt, was revealed on Tuesday night with the discovery of a bomb addressed to him amid incoming mail at the city Post Office. The bomb was discovered by a clerk when it tumbled from the mail sack and the box in which it was contained burst open. The bomb was said to have been wired to explode when properly jarred or struck. The explosion might not have resulted fatally, but considerable harm would have been done to the person handling it. The work is described as that of an amateur.
