INQUEST INTO DEATH oi; THE ACKERS BROTHERS

Whangarei, Friday. At an inquest at Hikurangi to-day conceriiing the, victims of the triple tragedy at a coalmine, the verdict was that Albert Ackers met his death through unwittingly coming into contact with black damp, that James Ackers died similarly when attempting to rescue Albert, and that Jack Ackers died the same way when trying to save the others.
