Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd. reP'ort having held their Matamata sale on Wednesday, February 1, as under: We sold. Fat cows £2 to £2 15s; lighter cows £1 12s to £1 19s; boner cows 17s to 27s; potter bulls, £3 15s to £4. Sheep: The whole entry was sold at prices equal to late rates. Fat ewes 5s ld to 5s 7d; fat wethers, 12s 5d; fat lambs 10s; good store woolly lambs 8s to 8s 9d; smaller lambs, 5s 6s to 6s 3d; store ewes ,4. Pigs: The whole yarding changed hands under good competition at late rates. Baconers £1 17s to £2 5s; best porkers £1 13s; medium porkers £1 6s to £1 12s; light porkers 1 2s to £1 9s 6d; best istores £1 to £1 2s 6d; slips, 12s to 16s; large white sows, 4 months, £1 11s.
