INTENSE EXCITEMENT
STORM TROOPS PARADE. Rec. Jan. 31, 7 p.m.. Berlin, Jan. 30 There were scenes of intense fever in the Wilhelmstrasse to-night. Seventeen thousand Nazi stoi*m troops and steel hehnets joineil in a torch'light procession to the Chancellory, where Herr Hitler characteristically stood in the spotlight answering the cheers 'and Fascist salute. In contrast President Hindenburg was stand ing soldier-like inside a window of his house opposite, acknowledging the applause. The wh'ole Government quarter^ for the first time since the war, was given up to rejoicing, in which the Com-
munists and Socialists were consp'icuous hy their absence. Communists have 'already announced their intention to move a motion of no confidence in the Reichstag.
