The Farmers' Co-op'erative Auctioneering Co., Ltd. report having held a clearing sale on account oft Crossing Estate, Lichfield, on Monday, 23rd inst., when a good attendance was present. Good competition ruled for implements and horses, while dairy cattle made satisfactory prices. Sheep sold equal to ruling rates. Quotations: Aged heavy farm horses £27 to £28 10s; aged light farm horses £22 to £25; hacks, 37s 6d to £6 5s; best Jersey cows £5 to £6; other Jersey cows ' £2 15s to £4 10s; 1£ to 2-year heifers r.w.b., 37s 6d to £3 5s; smaller heifers r.w.b., 22s 6d to 30s; bulls £2 12s 6d to £3; aged ewes, 5s 7d to 6s 7d; store ewes, 3s to 4s; medium lambs 6s to 6s 2d; rams llgns.
