The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report on their Pirongia sale held yesterday as follows: — Steady competition on about a medium offering resulted in values praetically on a par with recent Frankton quotations being maintained. Wellfatted cows made £3 8s to £3 16s; medium quality, £2? 10s to £3 5s; lighter, £1 18s to £2 8s; light, £1 12s to £1 17s 6d; stores: best up to £1 5s^ inferior, up to 15s.
