The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, • Limited, Hamilton, report on their Frankton store sheep sale held on Wednesday as follows: — The shortage of store lambs was well in evidence, when a very large offering proved insufficient for buyers' requirements. Competition increased as the sale proceeded, and for all lines very satisfactory values were obtained. . We sold 200 good, woolly lambs at 7s 7d; 112 good, shorn lambs, 7s 4d; best-conditioned rape lambs made from 7s 6d to 8s 6d; good store and inferior rape lambs, 6s 3d to 7s 4d; fair- sorts of store lambs, 5s 6d to! 6s Id; poor ditto, 4s 7d to 5s 6d; inferior, 3s to 4s 3d.
