COMING OF AGE PARTY

Another of Rotorua's younger set who has reached the "age of discretion" is Miss Molly Owens, who celebrated it in fitting manner with a bright and happy party last Monday evening at her home in Pukuatua St. Streamers and balloons made attractive decorations, together with bowls of rich gladiola and carnations. To receive the guests, Mrs. Owens wore a smart frock of heige and brown crepe de chine, while Miss Molly Owens was gowned in dainty pink lace and georgette. Dancing and competitions were the order of the evening, pleasantly interspersed with songs by Mr. Thomas and Miss R. Owens, and elocutionary items hy Miss Hitchen and Mr. F. Jones. Among those present were: — Mr. and Mrs. J. Hemphill, Mr. and Mrs. L. Dixon, Mr. and Mrs. W. Costello, Mr. and Mrs. Yuill, Mr. and Mrs. C. Bates, Mr. and Mrs. P. Castleton, Mrs. Fleming; Miss R. Owens, Miss 0. Shultz, Miss J. Winslade, Miss R. Castleton, Miss J. Bunting, Miss M. Ford, Miss J. Davies, Miss M. Graeff, Miss Hitchen, Miss Johnson, Miss A. Small, Miss B. Small, Miss M.
