Following are the results of the Whakatane Cycle Club's weekly meeting held on Friday evening. Two unsuccessful attempts by D. Aberhart to lower the quarter-mile and twomile reeords failed, but J. Whitten lowered his own record for the quar-ter-mile by 1 4-5 seconds, his time being 32 seconds. Three miles. — J. Whitten (scr), 1; E. Wilson (300yds), 2; S. Doncaster (200yds), 3.
