N.Z. GOLD CUP GOES TO SOUTH ISLAND ROI L'OR ONLY TWO FAVOURITES SCORE (Special to "Post") Wellington, Saturday. Only two first favouries were successful at the Wellington Trotting Club's Gold Cup meeting at Hutt Park to-day. There was fine weather with a good attendance and the track was very fast. The New Zealand Gold Cup was won by the Waimate-trained Roi L'Or with Lindbergh second. The imported trotter, Stanley Bingen, woh both his raees. Some remarkably fast times were. put up, one competitor, Golden Harvest, going twenty seconds better than his handicap whilst ten-second improvements were shown in many raees. All the winners, but one, came. from Canterbury.
