Rec. Jan. 12, 7 p.m. Calgary, Jan. 11. The impounding of two shipmente of 15,0001b. of New Zealand butter en route to Canada, is a question of importance reached by the executive at a meeting of the United Farmers of Alberta on Wednesday. The question was raised by a telegram from an unknown source. The executive declined to take action at present. The vice-president, Mr. N. Priestley, said that the information indicated that the shipment was due to reach the Pacific eoast on January 27, and that the Alberta Company had purchased a large quantity of it.
