AUCKLAND MATCHES FINXSH ON TRICKY WICKET LOW SCORING
Auckland, Saturday. Thc Auckland cricket association's competition matches were resumed to-day, conditions being in favour of bowlei's who generally had a day ont and lcept the batsmen quiet. Following are the results of the series: Parnell: First innings, 286; North SKore, 79 and 238 for nine wickets (Dacre 65). King's Old Boys: First innings, 361; Eden 129 (Mills 32) and 85 for two wickets (L. Vivian 47 not out). Y.M.C.A.: First innings, 281; Ponsonby 170 (F. Clarke 45 not out) and 150 for three wickets (F. Clarke 101 not out) . University: First innings 305; Grafton 117 (Kerr 54) and 107 for nine wickets (Kerr 28).
