POLICE DILIGENTLY SEARCHING FOR SLAYER OF MISS O'CONNOR LOOKING FOR STOLEN ARTICLES Sydney, Sunday With most other clues exhausted i information has been supplied to the : police which is likely to be of great j use in the hunt for the murderer j of Bessie O'Connor, in the National , Park recently. Detectives are tracing the move- j ments of a man mentioned and hope ! to interview him shortly. Every policeman in the metropolitan area has been given instructions regarding the hunt and a keen search is progressing. A Pnevious Ride Under instructions from DetectiveInspector Prior, Detective-Sergeant Keogh and the homicide squad are still paying a good deal of attention to the Centennial Park district. The police are also investigating a l-eport that Bessie O'Connor and two other girls went to the National Park district for a car ride with p. man a few months ago. Stolen from Car No one has yet answered the appeal for any person who can tell the whereabouts of stolen articles of clothing, handkerchiefs and motorcar tools. It is rnost important that these articles be traced, for the police think that they will lead them to the man who murdered May Miller, and possibly Bessie O'Connor.
