FOUR MILLION POUND BUILDING NEARING COMPLETION

Rec. January 5. Rugby, January 4. The new wing of the London Gounty Hall, incorporating a conf erence hall, a library, and an office, is nearing completion, and will he formally opened this month. The hall occupies ia site with an extensive river front on the south side of the Thames, almost opposite th'e Houses of Parliament. The King laid the foundation stone in 1912, and the building has been completed at a total cost of ahout £4,006,000, >in aceofrdlanee with the original design of the late ' Ralph Knott. Steel construction has been used.
