EXPENSIVE VESSEL
London, Jan. 5. The liner Atlantique, which was abandoned on fire off the Cacqnets, is reported to have cost £3,200,000. It is feared she may be a total loss despite the fact that tugs with fire fighting equipment have been sent to the scene.. She is the biggest vessel in the American trade. She has 12 decks, one of which contains branches of leading Paris shops in a "street" which is 450 feet long.
