MOURNING THOUSANDS AT FUNERAL OF VICTIMS -- - V

Napier, Saturday. The bodies of nine of the victims of the harbour disaster were buried at Parke Island this morning. Services were held in St. Patrick's Church and St. John's Church. The cortege wa? over two and a half miles long. At the graveside the service lasted nearly two hours, weeping women and stolid men standing in thousands. A donation of £250 towards the relief fund has heen received from the Commonwealth and Dominion Shipping Co.
