Perth, Dec. 30. After cijawling .across parched ground to a steepi creek hank, only to. topple thirst-crazed into the dry rocky bed helow, William McLeod, aged 63 years, a prospeetor, died within five hundred yards of a full well in the country behind Onslow. A graphic story of McLeod's death f ollowed a waterless trek of 38 pniles, during which his tracks indicated frantic bursts in pursuit of a mirage, is contained in a report from Constable Creagh, of Onslow.
