Reports arriving from Melbourne to-night suggest that O'Reilly and Oxenham jvill be omitted from the ; provisional 13 Australians selected ; for the Test match opening to-mor- ; row, in which there is exceptional in- ^ terest. It is even suggested that Richardson may replace Woodfull as captain. The Board of Control met at Melbourne to-day and deeided that the captain and vice-captain be appointed to-morrow before the game commenced. It will not he known definitely until to-morrow whether Bradman wiil be playing. The Board of Control discussed with Mr. Johnson, the president of the the New Zealand Cricket Gouncil the possibility of regular tours by Australian teams to New Zealand, but no decision was announced.
