HIS LAST INNINGS
BLACKHAM AT REST Rec. Dec. 29, 11.10 p.m. Melbourne, Dec. 29. Cricketers, former players and sportsmen crowded St. Paul's Gathedral to-day for the funeral of J. M. Blackham, the former noted Australian wicket-lceeper. The service was conducted by Canon Hughes, president of the Victorian Cricket Association and Judge Moule, who is a former international test player. The M.C.C. cricketers were represented by Mr. Warner and Mr. Paraleit. The only surviving member of the first Australian team to visit England in 1878 is Mr. T. W. Garrett, who is now residing near Goulburn.
