BRIGHT DANCE
MOTfOR CYCLE CLUB'S ANNUAL SOCIAL EVENING Although there were no motor cycle sports at Opotiki this year the usual annual motor cycle dance was held at the Lyric on th'e evening of Boxing Day and was well patronised. Two chocolate waltzes were won by Miss V. Hutt and Mr. Woods and Miss M. Day and Mr. L. Dick. Among those present were: Mesdames T. Webb, M. Kearney, T. O'Sullivan, G. Allen,- S. Jephson, G. Powell, F. Bennett, and Misses L. Hartshorne, D. Patterson, J. Battle, Hiekey (2), M. Neal, J. Cox, D. Campbell, K. Jephson, M. Abbott, D. Dickinson, Miss Anderson (Auckland), F. Abbott, N. Clark, E. Dick, M. McNaught, N. Rawson, Misses Reid (2), Miss Harriman, A. Dodgson, W. Johnstone, Peoples (2), E. Rau, Donovan (3) Tyrie (2), J. Lovell, B. Kidd, J. Kelly, M. Hutt, V. Hutt, M. Day, Miss Parker (Auckland). Mr. S. M. Jephson acted as M.C. and the music was supplied by the Semla Orchestra.
