CONFERENCE OF INTERESTS TO BE CONVENED IN JANUARY Sydney, Dec. 24. Mr. Stewart, Minister Jof Commerce, is convening a conference of Australian meat interests in January, at whieh the States and Northern Territory representatives will discuss the Federal organisation of the industry. A hody similar to the New Zealand Meat Board probably will be evolved, its work having earned the eulogies of investigators. The meat producers contend that such a hody is necessary to assure Australia getting the fullest benefit of the Ottawa agreements.
